1. Don't blame anyone

Many times freshers try to shift the blame about bad grades and gap up on someone else. Don't do it; instead, try to accept failures honestly and share learnings from them. 

2. Be authentic

Many times, candidates don't share weaknesses when asked. But sharing weaknesses and steps taken to make improvements portrays authenticity and self-introspection. 

3. Don't disclose salary expectation

HR asked for salary in the initial stages. Deflect such Qs politely. Instead, research the market salary standard and try to make HR reveal their expectation.

4. Avoid unprofessional backgrounds

In the age of online interviews for hiring, make sure to choose a blur background as it shows professionalism and avoids distraction for hirer.
